Duties and Types of Engine Cooling System
In the engine cooling system has 3 main tasks and two types of commonly used cooling system .....
Tasks for Cooling System:
i) Removing the temperature or excessive heat from the power stroke results.
ii) Accelerate the engine reaches working temperature is determined so as to obtain efficiency.
iii) Setting the working temperature during engine operation.
Types of Engine Cooling SystemThere are TWO types of cooling systems that are commonly used as below:
i) The air conditioning system.

Types of Engine Cooling SystemThere are TWO types of cooling systems that are commonly used as below:

the heat generated from the cylinder as the power stroke will be absorbed by the water jacket around the water. Water will move toward pengalihaba as a water pump action. This water pump is driven by a belt connected to the pulley shaft roll. Water is brought through pengalihaba heat, and heat will be released through the fins on the air pengalihaba moved by the fan action.
when the engine is cold larasuhu in the closed state of water can not flow into pengalihaba. Water will go back into the pump through a bypass valve and the water jacket. With the engine temperature will rise rapidly. When the water temperature has reached the working temperature of the engine, then larasuhu will open and allow water to go to pengalihaba yabg heat is released to him. Larasuhu action is said to accelerate the engine up to working temperature.
Components in the cooling liquid comprises a water jacket, larasuhu, conductor of heat, water pumps, and fans.
Water jacket
Water jacket serves to put the water around the cylinder and the combustion chamber. Water in it worked to absorb the heat produced from combustion during the power stroke in the cylinder. This heat will be carried by water to pengalihaba to be released.
Thermostat.Thermostat function to close the water outlet, so that water can not go to pengalihaba. When the water has reached the working temperature of the engine thermostat opens and allows water to go into the radiator.
The type of thermostat that normal
Divided into two types commonly used are:
a) Adjust the temperature of Bellow type
during cold water, causing shrinking Bellow pulled to a closed valve. When the water was hot, Bellow expand and open a valve to allow water to flow.

Water Pump
water pump serves to move the water to circulate or flow in the engine cooling system for heat release that are not needed. This water pump is pushed by the belt and connected to the crankshaft pulley.Fan
for rear-wheel drive vehicles usually a fan mounted directly to pump water by the operation is in conjunction with the water pump. To avoid turning the fan energy consumption when the water is cold and also to accelerate the increase in temperature of the engine fan works automatically created. During cold engine fan is not spinning even though the pump rotates. The fan will only rotate when the engine was hot.
for front wheel drive vehicles are usually the fan rotated by an electric motor and driven by the thermostat switch. During cold engine larasuhu switch does not work then the fan is not spinning. When the thermostat switches the heat engine works and the fan was spinning.
